end and beginning.

yesterday was the last day of the month...obviously...which means purge and kill. my create space and older kits, that is. okay, so kill the kit does not sound very nice...hmmm...got a better phrase for me? well, nevertheless, it means it is time to get into old stash and purge and clean it out. well, i got on a rant last night of using up the bits and pieces of september kits that are still laying around...some kits are easier than others to use up, let me tell you.
so this is what i came up with:

the scallop chipboard is from a maya road mini album. covered it with patterned paper from zany zinnia september kit. scribble scrabble is the paper. the letter stickers and chipboard are also from the kit by scrapworks. love the way it looks on the little scroll easel.
this was a bit of a lift from keisha campbell. again, from zany zinnia's kit. took the scribble scrabble lined paper, cut to a tage shape. added a scallop circle in vanilla. cut a circle from more of the scribble scrabble paper, then cut it in half. attached to the top of the circle. used the beautiful velvety leaf 'ribbon' across the scallop circle. attached 'no boundaries' chipboard from scrapworks, as well as the wee bit of scroll, and the letter stickers. liked how this one turned out.

this was left over cardstock from zany, more lined paper. a tim holz journal ticket with a 'hope' ticket layered on top. the flower is from a previous zany kit. the bird is scrapworks. very simple. i like.

the ki apple lace cardstock is from wip's september kit. cut that out and added patterned paper under one of the apples. simply attached to the patterned lined paper from scribble scrabble, and the hello greeting from scrapworks. had to attach this front part of the card to another piece of patterned paper, in order to make an actual card.
this is a 4x4 coaster. all supplies from zany zinnia. there was a strip of cardstock scallop that i added to the back. turned out fun.
i love doing these wall hangings. this is serious inspiration from ali edwards. the squares are 2x2. great way to use up scraps. i mount all pieces on cardstock, and then mount that to a rectangle of foam core. this time i attached it to the 12x12 scenic route cardstock. probably won't keep it like that, but for now i like.

have a wonderful first day of october. the year is quickly winding down...again.
