There is a new video up on my YouTube channel (YouTube.com/JamiePate )

Using Heidi Swapp's beautiful Hawthorne collection, I have crafted a new journal. Book journals are highly used resources in my life. I am always reading self growth books. And I take extensive notes when I read. A companion journal is always helpful as I journey through another book. It's even more helpful when it's pretty.

In this video I will be sharing how to create this Gold Foil backing to my title. An inside pocket for paper clips and book marks. How I used a sheet of clear acrylic paper. And how this book is bound with the Cinch binder.

These Gold Foil Flakes are a must have in your paper crafting stash. Lots o' possibilities.

While this journal is a work horse for me I still needed to make it pretty. The embellishing is minimal but fun.
