Gabriel is a son of my cousin. He was born incomplete by our human standards, but by all accounts, he completely filled hearts like no little baby ever before him. He returns to God today in the company of many beloved family members who have gone before him. The LORD saw fit that his 'dash' was a little one, but it will last an eternity in the hearts of all who loved him.
It is a beautiful picture...so tiny. Better to have had him for a short time than not at all. A good lesson for their kids .... things are disposable but people are not. It is very difficult sometimes to "tend" to people ... young or old. Usually more is learned by those doing the caring than those receiving.
