back to school...wait...what?

It happens every summer.
You're not ready for it.
But it happens just the same.
Back to school.

But you know me.
That's just an excuse for the Heidi Swapp Lightbox to show up and have some fun.
Part of looking for the good in my life is thinking outside the box. Get it. The box? The Lightbox?
OK...I digress.

What's even better?
The Lightbox and a little garage background photo shoot.
Because this new to high school girl is growing up fast. She's the last daughter to enter high school. And I wanna make it a big deal.

So I told her to turn it on for me and let's have a little fun with Lightbox and camera.
These are the photos. The moments. I will look back on in four years when she is graduating and sigh and not even believe what life does to us all. Every time.
I know this. Cause I have done the graduation thing twice now.
And it amazes this mom every time.

The next four years are pretty big deals to a teenage girl such as this one.
Friendships forged.
Maturity sharpened.
Future goals thought through and made.
It's just so much.

But today?
We celebrate and have fun.
And capture the first day of high school like it's the biggest deal in the world.
