fresh start work space

Happy New Year!!!


OK...So I may be a few weeks late.
But my motto in life right now is seriously, better late than never.
So today I say happy new year and let's get this party started, shall we?

As I continue to orient myself with the new year a couple of things are in the works.
I make a couple of growth goals.
I reset some reading plans.
I re-dedicate space and time to my brand and the stories I want to share with you my readers.
AND...
I take down the old, (read Christmas decorations) and ring in the new, (read fresh start with fresh work space decor.)

Admittedly, when I am in the midst of projects and deadlines, it can look like the papers and embellishments are literally flying around here. It can be a hot mess when I am done. But I like to get it all cleaned up after the intensive creative event. I like to walk down to my studio every morning with a fresh start and at least one clean surface so that there is not clutter resistance. But rather a place to start again.

I love the idea of this word TODAY hanging on my frame in my work space...
it's a challenge to remind me that
today is the day.
Today can be what I make it.
Today is a fresh start.
Today's choices determine tomorrow's outcome.
It's up to me.

Everyday can be a new year. A new day. A new start. Today. Today is the day. Make it pretty. Write the story that is today. And remember: better late than never.
