bring on a fall vibe to your stories

all the falling leaves

Today I am up on the PaigeTaylorEvans.com blog with this scrapbook page and story.

You know when you just really have a good time of it creating a layout. This is exactly what this Blessed Layout was for me. It sort of ebbed and flowed as I figured out exactly how I wanted to use Paige Evans Leaves Background Cut File.

But first some legalities:

This is a personal blog. All editorial content and projects are intellectual property of jamiepate.com I do receive financial compensation and material product and affiliate sales in the development and posting of my craft posts, but all ideas and opinions are my own.

The white cut file on the white background page really had me. I adored that texture and how delicate it felt on the page.

I originally had another idea in my head as I was starting this page. While I went ahead and played with the idea for a bit, I just was not really feeling it. Does that ever happen to you? One needs to feel the direction they are going in, even if it is the simplicity of paper cuts and embellishments.

When finally the right direction was set upon, the page really came together for me. Which, strangely, was sort of disappointing, as I was really enjoying the create time. I was super happy as to how the Truly Grateful Ephemera pieces felt like they were floating down the page. I had cut the cut file with pattern paper, and used some of those pieces to enhance the embellishment.

Any excuse to tell a story about my girls and their antics is always a good creative sesh for me. Using Paige's fabulous cut files, along with her Truly Grateful Collection really summed up the whole feel for me. And that is just one reason I scrap these pages.

Thank you so much for visiting today.
If you have any questions or comments I would love to hear from you. Just leave me a note below.
