Catching up with December Album 2018

Welcome to December. And welcome to a quick little detour as I go back to last year with a couple of page spreads I want to share here.

Today on I am creating several layouts from 2018 stories. The collection Winter Wonderland includes an Album Kit. I altered the front of that album and you can see that post right HERE. As I was thinking through how to use the Album Kit I realized I had not even finished my 2018 pages. Since some of those pages were unfinished, this Album Kit will not hold the rest of those stories from December 2018.

You can find this full post HERE on the Heidi Swapp blog. Included in this post today is a quick look at those pages. But also a walk through video is included as well. Click below to see all the details in this walk through video.

This size is not my go-to for a December Album. But as I got into it and crafted these pages with plenty of interactive elements I was lovin' it!

This album is a great size at almost 8-inches square. Plenty of room for what I call traditional scrapbook layouts. But plenty of space too to add flip pages and hidden journal cards as well. See video for those details.

I've linked all the supplies below. I'm using the Stamp Set as well as the Stamp and Die Set too. It's been great fitting all the patterns and colors together making these stories and pages just come completely alive for me.

Watch the video to see why I included this pocket page. And those tags? They are part of the 12x12 Pattern Paper Pad.

This might be my favorite page. For one, it's all my kiddos. For two, those hexagons. Thanks to Ali Edwards December Daily® Product Play 3 class I was totally inspired by hexagons. Has a shape ever totally inspired you before? This one has me smitten this year.

A hexagon interactive mini book is included in this December Album too. Yep. You guessed it. Watch the video for that.

Do you keep a December Album? Have you prepped your 2019 book? I will be revealing those pages here too soon.
