How To Create Foiled Sentiments On All The Things by Jamie Pate

what's on your Thanksgiving table?

Thanksgiving is going to be such an important gathering this year. Need I say more?

There is a need, an inspiration if you will, in me to make and give. To pull out all the things in this crafty studio and make and give it away.

Which brings me to this Holiday Table Pocket. It's a very simply made pocket using literally scraps of my Storyline Chapters stash. Mostly from that Project Pad. That pad has so many possibilities. I love it so much.

To start, I downloaded the Thanksgiving Tags Heidi made available a few years back. Link through HERE to find those. I printed them with my laser printer onto vellum. Then using the Blush Minc Machine I foiled them with my favorite foil in Champagne.

Next I made a pocket with some Storyline Chapters pattern paper. There are a couple of different ways to use pockets. Watch this video HERE to figure what works best for you.

Finally I assembled and layered the card pieces together. The vellum was trimmed down to fit over the pocket. Pattern paper was also trimmed down to fit inside the pocket. As per usual I trimmed pattern paper then notched the ends to create some layers. The Hidden Leaves Die was used to cut out a leaf that was also layered over the notched flags. These were then adhered to the top of the tag.

Thinking these will be pretty on the Thanksgiving table with our group prayer tucked inside. Handmade. Seasonal. And I think pretty too.

Here's to your seasonal crafting.
