The Magic Mat is back in stock at the ScrapbookCom online store. It's been missing in action for a minute, now. Not anymore.

The Magic Mat is a staple tool in my studio. It's always sitting on my Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutting Machine ready to go. I use this EVERYDAY. This mat is made from a self healing material. I have warped the heck out of this thing. Then I use my heat tool to 'warm it up'. Place it under a stack of heavy books. Then it's good to go again helping me cut all the things in my space.

I put the Magic Mat to work most recently making a tag mini album. Wait? What? Jamie made a mini album...YES! finally. It has been a minute.

Taking these tag dies, along with the Magic Mat and Sizzix Big Shot Machine, I'm diving into a mini album showing off the beautiful people that were part of my daughter's recent bridal shower.

The formula for this quick and easy mini goes as follows:

Cut assorted sized tags from an assortment of pattern paper using the Nested Tag Dies

Adhere wallet size photo to tag (no matter what the tag size is)

Whatever one's heart desires. The fun of this project was cutting all the tags, laying them all out on my work surface, and then playing with placement and layers and enjoying the memories of this event.
