Creating Stamped Backgrounds | Storyline Chapters Mini Insert and Album

6.30.2021

stamps and paper and photos oh my!

Do you forget about your stamps and keep them for cards only? Do you keep them handy and ready to tell stories? Do you create backgrounds with said stamps? Ever?

As I have said before...stamping seems to be the thing right now. I'm totally here for it. I keep my stamps handy. I sort through them when I am beginning a project. I think how I can use them as prompts (that will be for another post). I play with different ink colors...color...who me??? I know!?!?! I'm just head long into the love of stamps right now.

This post is in conjunction with a video I have up on my YouTube Channel. I am processing through another page in this Wedding Mini Insert Album. Taking our time much? Yep. I guess you could say I am.

Pt03 is up in this series and I will have it linked below.
Also you can catch Pt01 HERE
and Pt02 HERE

You will not only see me take to a little bit of stamping a background frenzy...but I made a whole entire page a glitter page? What? Shocking, I know. But it's true. And it seemed to work just fine. You see, friends, you just have to give ideas a try. If they make wings and fly then go with it. Have fun. This is us enjoying the process.

Also in this video I talk about how I will (hmmm...for the most part...always subject to change) utilize hidden journaling. There have been a couple different ways already that I have gone about this technique. Again, you'll just need to grab a bev and watch the series.

And as a bit of a disclaimer, at the writing of this post, the Heidi Swapp Floral Stamp Set is out of stock. It should be re-stocked soon. If you are really interested in this stamp set, be sure to click on the Notify Me button. I'm telling you...these stamp sets go fast. If ever you think you be needing a set you just can't think about it...you have to grab and go.

Hope this post and these videos inspire the making in your life. If you are making special pages like a wedding mini album, or making stores that are seemingly ordinary and making them extraordinary, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that you are telling your story.
