just what is a scrapbook page?
A scrapbook page is like a card is like a tag.
It’s layers of photo and paper and tags and little bits.
It’s words. Sentiments. It’s title.
More than once has it been said of me ‘you do it all’.
Ok. Yeah. Maybe. Sort of.
But what I do is the same thing on different surfaces.
This grid layout is not much different than the layered tag I recently made.
It’s a foundation.
It’s photos.
It’s paper.
It’s tags.
It’s die cuts.
I’m sort of laughing at myself.
Why?
Because.
I do the same thing over and over again.
More than once have I been told that I’m just so talented and just so good and just everything is gorgeous.
Ok. Yeah. Maybe. Sort of.
Here is the truth about everything I do:
I do it again and again and again.
You know the saying, ‘practice makes perfect’?
Yeah.
I hate that saying.
Mostly because I have been accused of doing every thing perfect.
Please. Trust me on this.
I don’t do things perfect. Just ask my kids. Dang. Ask my husband!!!
So. What saying DO I prefer:
Practice makes better.
Hang on. I need to post that here in my studio again.
PRACTICE MAKES BETTER.

I have been doing this a L O N G time.

And what have I discovered?
I do the same thing over and over again.
Whether it’s a card. A tag. Or a scrapbook page.
I mean...how boring is that?
I just love paper. And photos. And tags. And die cuts.
And I do what I love.
