let's make something whimsical

Went to make a tag for my granddaughter for Easter. This is what I pulled out of the hat! A sweet and whimsical shakety rabbit tag perfect for her Easter basket.

This ScrapbookCom exclusive Rabbit Die set is perfect for this or any other tag. I loved putting together the elements of the rabbit figure by keeping it all in white.

I cut out the head with ears, the little heart nose plus the closed eyes. The inside pieces of the ear I colored with a little bit of Victorian Velvet Distress Oxide. Same with that little cute nose. It was just enough color to give it a sweetness to this rabbit feature.

A few additional things I grabbed include the Sizzix sequins mix that I may have gone a little crazy about. But can you really have too much shakety?

Plus the Market Bloom Florals from ScrapbookCom in which I created a little floral crown for this bunny.

Mintay Polka Dot Vellum was a great way to frame the tag which I did using the Nested Tag Die set.

After creating all the pieces for this shaker tag I then assembled the shaker part using 3mm 1/8 Adhesive Foam Strips. Plus a piece of acetate cut to the shape of the tag to enclose all the shakety pieces.

The rabbit was assembled and then popped up on the acetate cover plus additional Market Bloom Floral die cuts tucked in behind the bunny.

Finally, using the ScrapbookCom Hello Spring Stamp set I stamped out the sentiment. But let's remember, this bunny is lovely for all of spring. Just use different sentiments from the Hello Spring Stamp set and away you go.

And that's how you craft a sweet & whimsical rabbit tag.
