how to embrace the season

9.30.2019

Oh...
Hello, October.
I didn't see you come in.
You sort of snuck up on me.
Not unusual.
Sometimes...well...actually, most often, time marching on can indeed sneak up on me.
Just like October did.

Wasn't it just yesterday we were camping?
And long summer days were at our beck and call?
No school nights.
Just fun nights?

So what is one to do with time, the funny thing that it is, is not to be controlled by our deep need and desire to control all the things.

Embrace.
That's my answer.
Embrace the season.

There are many ways to do that, of course.
Fall hikes.
Pumpkin Spice Lattes (if you like that sort of thing).
Mums on the porch.
And a change up of decor in the house.

That's the one we will talk about a little today.

For me, a fresh start also begins with something fresh in the house. And as is very often the way here on this blog, and as a member of Heidi Swapp's Media Team, I am promoting that part of the refresh in the home that includes the Lightbox in some way, shape, or form.

There are plenty of boxes and fonts and icons to choose from.
See right HERE to verify that if you wish.
I told you.

To be honest, this change in season, this change up of home decor, motivates me to remove everything from this front room bureau. Get it all good and cleaned up. And start fresh with a clean empty table top slate. Then I just start layering in the Lightbox. This one here is sitting on the Stand. I used the Mega Letters to add the sentiment. Then I just layered a pumpkin from our garden and stacked some little bitty pumpkins from the market. Super super easy. I mean. Really. No pulling out the 'fall' tote from the rafters. The sentiment is perfectly set again the orange hue of the seasonal produce.

Embrace a freshened up Lightbox sentiment. Embrace how simply you can pop your space with a easy decor. And embrace the season with me.
