let's talk tools
As a paper craft artist I very often am asked what tools I use the most. What I recommend. What I find works the best for me through the years. While each project I work on will pull differently from these tried and true tools, there is in fact a list in which I most readily pull from. No matter what I am making.
In no particular order...ok...well. That's not true. This is coming to you by way of the alphabet. And a small tiny commentary after each item.

I use a bone folder all the time. As with many of my tools there is more than one around here. This one is the one I reach for most.
These have made a recent appearance in the studio. I have yet to fully utilize them. I talk about them in THIS video here.
Because. You need a craft knife.
This too has been a recent addition to the space. Really loving it for the inky projects.
Some tools you realize you just can't live without.
Love love this for crafting on the go. Even if it is just going downstairs to the front room.
Because this is a messy hobby.
Die Cutting Machine http://shrsl.com/4j7ys
The Spellbinders P6 has been used in my studio the most lately.
But look what just showed up recently:
Ah...hello, pink Big Shot Switch. What a sweet machine. It's a work horse for sure.
A very well loved roller adhesive.
Any and all foam adhesive is must have adhesive for all the layers we love.
I may or may not over work this little tool. Not pictured as I need to get me another one.

Best hole punch ever.
Has a metal edge making this a perfect tool to use the Craft Knife with.
Sanding Disk Most favorite sanding tool I have ever used.
Because you need scissors.
Oh my gosh I love these.
Ack! Is there a limit to how many tools are favorites?
Going to add the GripMate here to the end of this lovely list. It is fast becoming a tool that is reached for. As a matter of fact, it just stays in the Stamp Platform and is ready when I need it. Love it.
Why this list matters? Because these are not just tools. They are what keeps my creative process flowing. Having them always close at hand means I can simply create and not wonder where and what tool I need.
What would be on your essentials list? I would love to know. Drop a comment and share with us all.
