As in this video, sometimes the best things happen when you simply turn on the camera and start the making.
And with that I'm sharing a lovely way to create a start to finish card make. Large snowflakes are on point here in my part of the world. And with that an embracing of it all. So with snowflake dies, glue pen, and shimmer flakes, we take to a layered make that absolutely shines on an easy inked background. It's just one way to make and create in the moment and in the season.
This is the kind of project meant for a quiet and creative moment. It's an attempt for no pressure making. Easy steps. And just letting the limited materials do their best showing off. Sometimes we just need easy and for someone to take us by the hand and show us the way.

Oh, but wait...there's a little thing I wanted to share today: the Shimmer Flakes used in this project are currently a FREE gift with purchase while supplies remain available. If you have been a tad curious about trying them (not quite as insidious as glitter) this might be your day to add to cart.
As always, whether you are making along with me in this tutorial or simply watching for inspiration, my hope is that this video encourages the slowing down. The enjoying the process. The simple adding of some sparkle to a project to give it just one more level of lovely.
If you enjoyed this post please share and Pin and tell your friends.
As well, leave a comment too. I absolutely love hearing from my creative friends. I always do my best to respond in kind.
