one page. four projects.

We are turning one brush marker inspired background into four project pieces to have at the ready for...well about anything.

Card makes.

Concertina book.

Mini album.

Tag background.

MemoryDex inspiration.

Watch this week's video tutorial. These backgrounds are inked. Stamped. Stenciled. Textured. Transfered. And then at your own discretion, layered upon. Truly the making we love and return to again and again.

Having returned to the studio after a forced hiatus, it seems the mixed media is calling my name in an invitation to take time and practice ideas. This is the best kind of creative session. Taking an idea. And then asking the question: what if we tried this? With that an exploration in creating inked backgrounds with Brush Marker techniques.

In my book of lists there is one of 'thank you's' I want to send out to family and friends. It was a most beautiful birthday I had and so the gratitude is in want of being shared.  So for me card fronts were vying to be filled. Cards were in want of being sent. And card bases were aspiring to be created upon.

Be sure and watch the video to see how these backgrounds came to fruition. We take our time as we experiment on paper. As we get inky with the backgrounds. As we try new to the studio stencils. As we simply enjoy the opportunity to be creative.
