back at it...

Hello dear friends...and welcome back...

It's been a little bit since I have graced the page of this here blog. A couple of weeks in Africa has been the main attention getter of my life. A week back now...and I feel like I am just now finding some sense of real order and routine. Being 8,000 miles away from home can really take it out of you.

Bella Blvd has recently announced its newest creative team...and yes, I am lucky enough to be on that team.

There is some crazy talent here. But I will do my best.

A few weeks back on the Bella blog there were some official announcements (I may or may not have been in the bush in Uganda at the time.) Be sure to check it out and get introduced to the team. For my first project I decided to do a planner spread.

With this huge trip to Africa, and even the influence of my One Little Word this year, I am finding myself in a very contemplative place. My planner is a personal space for where I am 'right now'. So it seemed natural to make art and write down my current thoughts on the theme of Grow.

Bella Blvd's Illustrated Faith She Blooms collection is the best  paper theme for my year's word and all those things in my head. The Die Cut pieces...are you kidding me...they include my word! How great is that?

And there's the transparency...

I cut a circle out of the Take Root 12x12 Transparency so the She Blooms pattern paper would be a focus on the other page.

I am looking forward to this new creative opportunity with Bella. Eager to share what is going on with them as well as be inspired by the new 2016 Bella Blvd Creative Team.

Have a most wonderful day.

  1. Thank you for introducing me to Illustrated Faith, Jamie! My soul and my brain have been on fire every since I read this post, and I've immediately seized on this creative way to engage with God. I've struggled with doing so for such a long time, but I can tell this way to be present with God is going to be a game changer for me. Thank you, thank you!
