tell your story
How is your story telling going?
Is the busyness keeping you from reflection and journaling and considering the days?
It happens. To all of us. There is so much coming at us that it can require much intention in which to create time and space to write the things down.
While the month of December is all but half over, I am just now getting in here to this blog to share images of this year's December Album 2023 as well as the approach to this book this year.
As it is day 14, I am actually pretty proud that I have eleven stories safely tucked away in this velvet album. And the next few days are sketched out a bit and just waiting for a spell of time that I want to give it to write those properly.
Thoughts about the WHY for this album are found tangled in the power of story and how that connects us to the important things.
Recently heard this statement: connection is power.
That thought prompted the next thought:
Connecting to our lives by way of story and photos and words is indeed powerful.
It keeps our focus on what’s important.
It reminds us times won’t always be tough.
It tells us how far we’ve come in our stories as well.
No one is remembered for what they plan to do (Bob Goff). We are, however, remembered for what we have done. Writing down that story connects us to who we are as well as inspires us to move towards who we are suppose to be. And that connection? Oy. So powerful!
