Mixed Media Page: Subtle Layers of December | JamiePate

invitation to slow down

With the month's December Album already crafted and pages pre-made, I am now making an attempt to let the beauty and the nuances of the month invite me to slow down and create with whatever just might be inspiring me at the moment...or what is simply still left out on my workspace.

With that I crafted this art page that will be housed in my 2025 STORYED DECEMBER album. It is possibly more than the first that I will implement in this kinda December YouTube series. Wow. Can I be more committed?

The page was intentionally one that employed soft hues of ink blended delicately with a stencil background as well as our all time favorite: a clustered element that is focal point to the page.

You can find this full tutorial walk through on the YouTube channel. Every step of the process is included. From the way I decided to go about the inky background to the layers that were added that helped develop a bit of subtle depth. It is most definitely not an overpowering page. Which truly fit the moment as snow was quietly falling and filling in all the space with a blanket of beauty.

If you too are craving something calm and creative, this just might be a lovely space to start.
