ScrapbookCom sent me the A2 Sample Pack early on. It's been a great creative exploration to go through the colors and finishes. I mean this sincerely when I state this: the high quality is truly found in this cardstock collection. Not only that, I have already landed on a most favorite finish.

The Glimmer Cardstock was an invitation to just play. I reached for butterfly dies, a well loved icon that is so beautiful to create with for many reasons. I cut a palette of them in different shapes and sizes. Having a mixed media background at the ready I was then able to just place and adhere and move around and die cut even more.

Layers invite a creativeness that is slow and intentional. While cutting a few butterflies from the Glimmer texture I found myself drawn into the creative flow I love so much. Then I cut even more deciding I wanted to add in some blue (Glacier Blue) as well as some contrast with the Tropical Surf. Which then led to cutting a few out of the Willow Green. At this point as I began to commit a bit to the placement, I used glue dots to adhere. This way I could change the positions of the die cuts if something else seemed better.

Feel free to invite this into your own creative session.

So here is the invitation and a little creative prompt for you:

Gather the Glimmer cardstock...you will not be disappointed.

Die cut your favorite icon.

Position and move around and adhere to a premade background.

Then do it again.

As I said before...you will not be disappointed.

Creatively yours,

*jamie
